Welcome to Compassionate Mind Coaching & Counseling

Coaching is an opportunity for individuals to explore areas of growth and supports personal and professional development based on self-initiated change in pursuit of specific actionable outcomes. These outcomes are linked to personal or professional success. Coaching is future focused. While positive feelings/emotions may be a natural outcome of coaching, the primary focus is on creating actionable strategies for achieving specific goals in one's work or personal life. The emphases in a coaching relationship are on action, accountability, and follow through.

Counseling is a service predicated on assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health issues. A licensed clinician assists with processing and healing pain, dysfunction and conflict within an individual or in relationships. The focus is often on resolving difficulties arising from the past that hamper an individual's emotional functioning in the present, improving overall psychological functioning, and dealing with the present in more emotionally healthy ways.

We, at Compassionate Mind, believe in helping people discover inner strength and self-awareness through mindfulness, empowerment, and grace. We meet people where they are by working with their values to achieve goals and live a more fulfilling life.


Professional coaching focuses on developing goals, creating possibilities, and managing change in work and personal life. Every individual is viewed as creative, resourceful, and whole. The process is thought-provoking while compassionate.

Health & Wellness Coaching

Health and wellness coaching is ideal for those looking to change or improve wellness habits. Working with a coach, you will clarify your goals, develop an action plan, and become accountable. Individuals will gain self-awareness and confidence to overcome obstacles. 

Individual Counseling

Includes an assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plan with a primary focus on living a life driven by your core values. Utilizing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy principles, we concentrate on changing relationships with our thoughts and feelings.

Meditation Instruction

Classes include talks, guided meditation, and question and answer sessions on a range of mindfulness topics. Students will learn techniques to calm the mind, improve concentration, and steady their emotions.
