My focus is helping clients to achieve their goals in life. Whether it's improving interpersonal relationships, managing overwhelming anxiety or enhancing coping skills caused by daily stress, I can help you live your life to the fullest. I have worked in the mental health field for over 14 years and have been a practicing clinical social worker for the past 10 years. In addition to private practice work, I have significant experience working in emergency medical and crisis intervention settings. I've counseled thousands of clients ranging in all types of mental health issues throughout my career.

Together, the client and I focus on living a life driven by his or her core values. Utilizing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy principles, we focus on changing relationships with our thoughts and feelings. I also employ elements of Cognitive Behavior and Solution Focused Therapy in order to accomplish our goals.

Kayla Sims, CPC
Certified Professional Coach
Kayla is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) based in Annapolis, Maryland. She is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), has a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and currently working toward a master’s in counseling psychology. With 12 years of professional experience in the federal government, Kayla understands the challenges of working in a fast-paced and highly demanding environment. She helps her clients discover and improve time management skills, health and wellness practices, and leadership behaviors through connection of her clients’ values to their goals. By identifying where growth is desired, setting goals and objectives, and holding accountability, clients will achieve a more fulfilling life. Kayla’s passion is helping others explore the possibilities that life has to offer through openness and compassion. Mike McRoberts, CPC
Certified Professional Coach
Mike is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) based out of Ashburn, VA. Mike has nearly 25 years of federal service, and currently serves at the Executive level. His six combat tours in the Special Operations Community have taught him the time and place for tactical, assertive leadership, while his time spent leading large, technical organizations has helped him learn the value of the leader as a coach and listener. His goal is to help clients transform into servant leaders with vision and action rooted in their own personal values, and with an array of leadership skills to meet the needs of those they serve.
